in class writing 2
This morning as I walked across campus there were many things that I came across. First, my roommate and I walked to Jamba Juice and they had all their ads about how healthy their food is. On the menu it emphasized the calories that were in each product and on the wall and on the food bags there were was a paragraph or so talking about how their company uses all natural fruit. They also had pretty pictures of the smoothies to attract the customer's attention, which in my case, it did. On the way back, we passed the many buildings and their signs. When I made it back to the dorm, I noticed all the campaigning students had done to attract the voter's eye so they could win. Finally, on my way to my first class, when I was a little more awake, I could see all the different logos and pictures on people's clothes. I never realized that so many things that I encounter everyday were right in front of me; the things I see everyday are what motivate people to go do something, and that's what the whole point of what rhetoric is.
