In-class writing 2

On my way to English today, I took a different route. Out of my dorm I saw signs on everyone's doors. I saw flyers of announcements and ads on my way to the stairs. On the stairs I saw girls with logos on their shirts. I walk by the library, and everytime I see it I think of why they built it they way they did with the roof different heights. I always think of a stack of books. As I'm walking towards LaFollette, I hear a band playing our school song. Cutting through the middle of campus, I hear the band getting louder. I step onto the main drive, I don't remember what it's called, but I see a sea of red. Our band was playing while walking through campus! I wonder what it was for, and I guess that they are doing this to hype everyone up for the opening football game tomorrow. Still on my way to LaFollette, I see the buses that take kids to and from classes. I notice how the back of the buses state that they are eco-friendly. I'm almost to the building. Everytime I walk around or across campus, I think of my parents. They both went here, and my mom taught me most about this school.
This assignment made me realize there is rhetoric CONSTANTLY all around us, even when we don't notice it. I am more aware now what this concept means and how to recognize how things are rhetoric. We are exposed to rhetoric nonstop.
