In class writing 2

This morning, I had to walk to the Cooper Science Building to take a test on InQsit. On my way back, I noticed an announcement board on the other side of the sidewalk that was littered with posters and signs. One that I specifically remember seeing was for the concerts that were going on last week in the Village. As I continued my walk, I walked past a lot of students that had 8 A.M. classes. Many were wearing Ball State attire. Hats, shirts, and jackets were what I saw the most of. I walked past a light pole and noticed a small design that was spray painted on the pole. I did not know what it was, but it made it stick in my brain. Due to the fact I live in Johnson B, I have to walk all the way across campus everyday. I see many different ads on buses or brands of people's shirts or shoes. I have a lot of time to think about what they meant. Many of the brands and ads are the same ones we have been seeing for years. Yet, most people see it and walk on by. With the image ingrained in their subconscious, they go out and buy said brands. Learning to dissect these ads as Rhetoric is a skill worth learning. Now that I know what rhetoric is, it is easier to see these things out.
