In class writing 2
As I wake up I am greeted by my Brides Maids poster, one of my all time favorite movies then i walk over to my closet and slip on my favorite sports team t-shirt. I continue my walk down the hall feeling very overwhelmed by all the news letters and activities posted along then walls, reminding me that i signed up for this or need to attend that. Just as i step outside I am greeted by a whole new set of advertisements be throw at me, for instance a White Sox base ball cap, a Sponge Bob t-shirt or a pepsi can. Everywhere I go I am comforted with millions of advertisements. The one I look closest at though are the ones prominently displayed on people skin, tattoos. People everywhere are giving into the newest phase that is tattoos, I personally love tattoos and I myself have one. This form of advertisement strikes most fascinating because they are permanent. Walking the streets to my next class i keep my eyes open for any interesting tattoo that might catch my eye. Once in class I take my seat and stare around the room trying to desperately drown out my history professor. The walls in the class are bare so I draw my attention to a girls Ball State tank top and tell myself i should buy one soon. My eyes continue to wander until I see a beautiful pair of coach shoes in the row in front of me. Class is over and I make my way back to my room repassing all the same signs and spotting new advertisements among the people who pass as well. Then I set my books and Jansport back pack on my been bag chair and lay on my bed and drift off to the distant sound of the newest Katy Perry song in the back ground. Rhetorical things are all around us every day we just need to open our eyes and see them.
