In class writing 1

There are so many positive and negative experiences when it comes to reading and writing. with reading we learn a lot of new information! There are also negatives when you are forced to read a book that does not interest you! with writing you are able to express yourself in many ways. A negative with writing is sometimes writing research papers that do not interest you. Anyone can pick up a book and read it! There was a positive experience with a book I read my sophomore year.

My sophomore year in my english class we read a book called Tuesdays with Morrie. This was an amazing book that I would never put it down. When we were reading this book it reminded me of my grandfather. In the book the main character sees his friend everyday who is dying from an illness. At the same time my grandfather was sick and I was doing the same thing. The main character of the book was just like my grandfather and while I was reading the book all of my joyful memories with my grandfather always came back to me!

Then I remember my junior year I had to write a research paper on how siblings fight so much! I was so annoyed with this paper. First of all it had to be all research and actual facts from news stations. That was the hardest thing to find because I couldn't find any information. Then I wasn't even interested in the paper so it was really hard to write. Then to make it even worse when I turned in the paper my teacher gave me a terrible grade.

There are still many positive and negative experiences when it comes to writing and reading. I have noticed when I enjoy doing this it has to be a topic I enjoy talking about.
