When I walk out of my room and lock my door, I see my name and my roommates hanging there. As I walk down the hallway I see the same thing on everyone else's doors. Once I get to the end of the hall I see the bathroom with posters and flyers all over the door. I then walk to the stairs where I see a mirror, the mirror has notes written on it of important events happening in my hall. As I walk down the stairs, I see more and more flyers. I also see the floor numbers of each floor that I reach. Once I am downstairs in the lobby of my dorm, I again see more posters, some colorful and some with pictures. By this point I see a lot of people. These people wear all sorts of clothing with words on them. I see Nike, American Eagle, Under Armor, and even Ball State University. When I walk outside and down the sidewalk to class, I am overwhelmed with what I see. There are more people with wording on their clothing, cars with brand names on them, signs for buildings, and so much more. I run into people handing out flyers with information on them and even wearing shirts to advertise this. I see people wearing hats that have sports teams on them, I even see shoes with words them. There are funny sayings on peoples clothes, and keychains with interesting pictures. As I am walking past buildings I see the beautiful statues and artwork around campus. I also come across street signs and traffic lights with signs on them. Once I get into a building I see the same things I have been. The people with logos, sports teams, brand names, and sayings on their shirts. I see more posters and flyers advertising for different clubs, sports, and events around campus. Now I see room numbers on doors, and teachers names written on chalkboards. I also see students with text books and so much more.
This assignment has made me observe my surroundings more then I have in the past.
