I opened the door to the hallway from my room eager to go study at the student center. I looked across the hall and read a message on the dry erase board on the other room's door. I then walked down the hallway looking a the bulletin board noticing all the flyers and inspirational signs posted on it. After walking through the hall way i left out of my hall and noticed the architecture building looming in front of me. i walked around it and noticed a flyer station littered with advertisements, announcements, and flyers. After walking past this i read the street sign that said I was on the right street. As i walked down the street i noticed people's shirts with logos promotions and writing on them. There were cars that sped down the road past me with their company logo or phone number on it. Eventually i came to a four way stop waiting for the little red hand to turn off and the green walking man to turn on so i could walk safely across the street. When the little green man did turn on I stayed inside the white lines that are designated for me to walk between. I turned to my right and noticed the teachers college and its enormous amount of floors. After proceeding through another four way stop I could see the student center closing in. However, i was distracted by the poster sale right next to it advertising posters of all sorts for low prices. Finding the strength to pass it up i then proceeded into the student center sat down in a chair and began my studies.
This has taught me that there are more rhetoric meanings around campus then simply words and letters.
