The Capitol That Murders For Capital

 I. Introduction
Hook: Chicago is a dangerous city. It is the number one city in the country with the most youth deaths and is among the top three cities in the country that are labeled as dangerous.
Thesis: Chicago is a crime-filled place with violent youth and tramautized civilians, so the city’s people need to acknowledge that and find a way to fix our problem.

II.  The Youth are in Danger.
“It is as easy to get a gun as it is a bag of chips.” When students like the one that said this, live in this environment, it makes since that they have weapons on them to protect themselves, creating a potentially threatening situation.

III. What is the City Doing to Slow Things Down?
The killings have yet to be corrected nor slowed down by the Police department and few know as to why so many killings are occurring within the police territory.

IV.  What is the Cause of this Outbreak of Crime?
Many Chicago-based news articles and media believe crime has started from the home, the schools, or even after High School graduation. Some date back to the Al Kapone era.

V.  What Can Be Done?
Based off prior experiences, I believe that the crime wave among Chicagoans in urban areas can corrected by a few techniques and some cooperation from the parents, or guardians of these young people.

VII. Conclusion
This outbreak of crime can’t be stopped, but it can be slowed down with cooperation from the home, the city officials, and the police department.
