Works cited activity

In the mid 1980s, the infamous black and white “Parental Advisory” sign that is printed on CDs came about. "The Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) said the music industry should have a way to rate the content within the music. The music industry agreed and proceeded to determine whether songs or albums would be tagged with these stickers" (PMRC).

The Parental Music Resource Center demanded that music should be rated (PMRC).

When the Parental Music Resource Center approached the music industry with this demand, they agreed completely. From that point on, the black and white "Parental Advisory" sticker appeared on CDs. This has caused many people to not get the music they want to listen to because their parents see that label (PMRC).
