Zero Draft

What: This political cartoon depicts a nice looking water fountain with a sign that says "straight" above it directly next to a dirty, shabby water fountain with a sign that says "gay" over it.
Who: The author is someone who obviously has a strong opinion on the issue. His target audience is modern day Americans, who will catch the irony in the allusion to civil rights.
When: This is addressing the modern issue of gay rights.
Where: The setting is not specified. I assume it is set in America because the image alludes to images of American history in which the signs read "White" and "Colored."
Why: This cartoon was probably created as a response to the modern day debates of gay rights and marriage equality.
How: This image portrays a message only if you catch the allusion to the civil rights movement.
