Apple Ad Zero Draft
What: The first Apple ad uses a multi-color scheme scripted into their
apple logo along with their slogan, “Think different” at the beneath it. The
second Apple ad has the outlined profile of a young woman dancing with her iPod
plugged in with a pink background to coincide with it.
Who: The two ads represent the Multi-Media Company, Apple.
When: The first ad with the “Think different” slogan attached to it was
released in the 1990’s and the pink apple ad with the young lady dancing was
released in the early 2000’s.
Where: There is no exact setting for the image is a collaboration of the
different outlines of the apple image and girl in a color format.
Why: The first ad was used to be simple, concise and straight to the
point, using logos and ethos as their approach to show that Apple is a
respectable and inventive company, while the second ad was used to appeal to
the audiences emotions, preferably women, with a pathos approach showing that
the consumer can use their product at any situation and time.
How: The colors accurately appeal to the consumers tastes of that time
with the first ad being a little bit more conservative since that era of the
1990’s was a bit more conservative and using the more recent ad by appealing to
the younger, more hip consumers.
