A student who went to Swoape's school named Keyonna Morrow spoke to an Indianapolis news paper at Tori, she said that her friends didn't know just how bad she was getting bullied.

 A 15-year-old girl named Tori Swoape from Bloomington, Indiana committed suicide on Monday night. She hung herself in her bedroom using a scarf. Her mother took her to the hospital where they were unable to save her and she was pronounced dead. She committed suicide due to being bullied and teased at her school, Bloomington High School North. Her classmates would call her names and spread many rumors about her. Before she died she had a Facebook post saying how people need to leave her alone and stop bullying her. Her mother told Fox 59 that she knew about Tori being bullied but she had asked her to stay out of it and told her that she was ok. Her mother never thought her daughter would commit suicide.
